Has anyone stayed at Grande Riviera Princess, Playa del Carmen, Mexico?

I am travelling out to Mexico at the end of this month and have booked an AI package with First Choice. I will be there for 2 weeks with my boyfriend in a Junior Suite and so wondered if anyone has been to this hotel and what their views of it where. I have since read mixed reviews on this hotel (Tripadvisor) since booking and am slightly worried as we had both umed at time of booking that being 5* we would thoroughly enjoy out stay. Any info, thoughts you have would be much appreciated. Also we were wondering what happens if we want to eat in 1 of the 3 restaurants that are not included in this package as some people have said that you just pay supplements whilst others say you pay the whole bill.
