Need help with sonnets...?

I am far from being a poet I am a lot better at writing fiction stories yet for a cl I am currently in I need to write a sonnet, I know that it is to be 14 lines and it is supposed to have a rhyme I was wondering if anyone can give me any more pointers? cuse I am really struggling with this sonnet thing.
