What are yout thoughts on the news of the three backpackers arrested in Iran?

I agree with you fully. Iran is not a country you venture into out of a spirit of adventure. It was irresponsible to go there and the diplomatic efforts required to free the three are going to be considerable. Personally I don't blame the Iranians, they are in their country, it's the outsiders who are to blame.
