Should James Cameron scrap the idea of the sequel to Avatar?

Well first of all the original's plot was really unoriginal and plus what interesting thing can happen to the world of Pandora next? I know that Cameron has directed 2 sequels Terminator 2 and Ailens which are one of my favourite movies of all time but I just have this feeling avatar 2 is just going to suck! anyone argree?
