Attack of the mobile 1-year old and....sleep?!?!?

Please help! My almost 1-year old has recently begun pulling up on everything and anything. In the last week, he has figured out how to pull up on to his crib, jump up and down squealing with glee, and turn on the aquarium toy (just soft lullaby music, with soft lights and moving fish....). He used to just go right to bed after drinking milk and laying in his crib for a few minutes. But now, I will put him in his crib (in a comatose state) and he'll wake RIGHT up, put on his toy music, stand, and jump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this just a temporary thing, because he is excited about his independence and new-found milestone? How long does this go on?!?! Time to get rid of the aquarium crib toy???
