Haiti earthquake- Evangelicals?

I just don't get it why Evangelicals in America are saying that the Haiti earthquake is because if them believing in the devil when yesterday on CNN and indeed on many other newspapers and tv channels we saw the people oF haiti praying to God, It annoys me than they can say sch a thing, natural disasters can happy to anyone and anywhere and we need to help everyone, it's not about religion but test of humanities compion, who agrees? this was from a program and live interview seesion n Al-Jazeera yesterday
